Our name: why "Abacus" Emerging Markets?

We choose Abacus as our corporate name because abaci were used throughout Asia and the Middle East as important instruments for trade, finance and investment. As abaci were a common instrument throughout the regions that we work with, we wanted to use a name that symbolises trade and investment with those regions.
